Is Gaming a Sport?
What do you think about this? In China, a new law just blocked children from playing video games on school nights.
It is so strict that they can only play at a government-defined hour 8 pm to 9 pm on Friday Saturday Sunday, that's it China will even enforce security measures like facial recognition just to make sure no one breaks the rules this decision is a part of the Chinese communist party's bigger war versus anything that threatens their idea of traditional Chinese culture they have already cracked down against teens. Celebrity worship fun clubs and what's it called ??? Man on tv while Chinese state media even went so far as to label video games as spiritual opium.
Act of China Against Abuse Power of Gaming. So China is overreacting and making the harsh decision or should the rest of the world watch and follow should kids are banned from playing video games. This may sound drastic but I think many gamers need a wake-up call and I'm gonna say it to not just kids but also adults you are wasting your lives and you suck and before you get triggered I need to tell you that I used to be a professional gamer.
I was cited machine playing counter-strike for up to 18 hours a day for five years at some. The point I was so good that together with my friend, we were number two in the world out of millions of gamers that were in times when gamers made barely any the money. I worked extremely hard because it was my passion but in today's world, many people play for very different reasons.
Why People Play Games?
They see big gamers making money and being popular that's why they get into gaming they think they will be like their gaming idols but in reality 99 of them suck at gaming.
I mean we can even see many adult men neglecting their relationships playing hours after work thinking that they are good but they suck. They hey get addicted they become more frustrated less focused on what matters and in the end gain nothing out of gaming, all because just like the kids. They started playing for the wrong reasons and lost control and I know I must have offended some people by now but I need to be painfully honest with you to prove my point becausChinayou ask me if China is doing the right thing should kids be banned from playing video games. I need to undeniably without a second of a doubt say hell no it is an absolute abuse of power what are they going to ban next.
Perhaps emotions so people don't act upon them or maybe love so people work more hours I am totally against it but as a gamer, I wanted to use this moment to spread awareness because I honestly believe more people need a wake-up call the gaming industry It is amazing now there is a lot of money and success in it but 99 of people never even get close to making it a career and more kids need to hear about it so they don't get into gaming for the wrong reasons.
What should Parents Have to Do?
At the same time more parents also need to learn about gaming and realize that there are amazing careers made in that industry if you see your kid play every day ask them what's your place on the leader score are you the best in your class if your kid genuinely sucks at games but they spend hours playing them then it is your responsibility as a parent to channel their fascination into something else and limit.
Their gaming hours and if they are well supported just like you'd support them playing piano or doing sports but after all, these are just thoughts of an anex-professional gamer so I want to is leave the question is up to you. What do you think should kids be banned from playing video games.
